The special EF team Close Encounter switch-out jersey for Giro d'Italia 2026. This will be the race jersey that the EF team will wear during the Giro d'Italia 2026. The switch-out is required because the predominantly pink normal EF team jersey is too close in color to the Giro maglia rosa race leader jersey. Close Encounter: Pink has been abducted. Returned to Earth as something new.  Limited edition/quantities available.

The EQUIPE RS Jersey S11 features an all-new textile on the sleeves, which is lighter than the previous sleeve textile without compromising on the compressive, second-skin fit. The new material is also textured for aerodynamic gains while in aggressive riding positions. The main body of miniCheck Tex is the same as the predecessor, providing ultralight, ultrabreathable comfort and body-wrapping, compressive support, and it’s anchored at the rear hem by the new PILtec Plug-In technology, which pairs an ultralight strip of textile with silicone microdots to stabilize fit while climbing, sprinting, or cornering – even while wet. An excellent jersey for high-intensity riding in warm/hot conditions.

FEATURED FABRICS
The open 3D knit miniCheck Tex provides high breathability, high elasticity, UPF 25, and the signature ASSOS jersey texture across the front. The pockets are anchored by a rear panel of Stabilizer V11, which provides hypercooling breathability. It also reinforces stability, preventing sag and movement when pockets are loaded. The sleeves feature the new 550CX warp-knit textile, which provides UPF 35 protection and a muscle-wrapping, bistretch fit with inherent aerodynamic properties.

CONSTRUCTION/FIT
ASSOS racingFit is a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed with WorldTour pro team feedback. Compressive textiles, micro-adjusted shaping, and low-bulk, raw-cut hems and cuffs identify racingFit as the definitive speed series.

ENGINEERING
//Raw Cut & Bonded: Sleeves, hem, and zipper are all raw cut and bonded, eliminating transitional ridges and maintaining clean, elegant lines throughout the jersey’s construction.
//Triple Ramp Pockets: Flexible fabric panels sewn into the pockets create “lids,” securing and stabilizing the contents while protecting against precipitation or road spray.
//PILtec Plug-In: The rear hem features a lightweight, ultrabreathable textile band with a microdot silicone treatment that stabilizes the jersey’s back panel and maintains grip while wet.
